The House Oversight Committee has made public a set of roughly 70 images from the estate of former adjudicated sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third publication from a tranche of in excess of 95,000 images the panel has acquired from Epstein's holdings. It contains pictures of excerpts from the literary work Lolita scrawled across a female's body, and obscured images of women's international passports.

This disclosure comes just hours before the December 19th deadline for the Department of Justice to make public all files related to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These latest photographs bring up more queries about precisely what the Justice Department has in its custody," stated the ranking member of the committee, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photos Disclosed

Some of the images published on recently show Epstein in discussion with academic and activist Noam Chomsky inside a private jet; Bill Gates seen alongside a woman whose identity is redacted; Steve Bannon positioned at a desk across from Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a evening meal.

These are the latest wealthy, powerful individuals to be pictured in Epstein property images released by the House Oversight Committee - formerly disclosed pictures also depict US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as director Woody Allen, previous US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Being pictured in the images is does not constitute proof of any wrongdoing, and several of the photographed men have said they were in no way implicated in Epstein's illegal activity.

In a announcement issued alongside the image release, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee noted the Epstein estate did not offer explanatory details or dates for the pictures.

"Images were picked to provide the American people with transparency into a representative sample of the images obtained from the property, and to give insights into Epstein's associates and his profoundly disturbing behavior," the announcement says.

The disclosure also features a number of photos of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in ink across various areas of a woman's body, such as her chest, lower extremity, pelvis, and back. Lolita tells the tale of a adolescent who was groomed by a older literature professor.

One excerpt from the work inscribed across a woman's upper body says, "Lo-lee-ta: the tip of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the roof of the mouth to land, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a number of photographs of female identification and identification documents from states worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

The majority of the data on the papers, like identities and DOBs, is censored but the House Oversight Committee indicated in a announcement that the travel documents are associated with "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were interacting with".

A further photograph depicts Epstein positioned at a desk in close proximity flanked by three women whose faces have been obscured - a first has her palm on Epstein's chest under his shirt, and another individual is bending to look at a nearby laptop. Epstein seems to be assisting the third individual attach a wristband.

A further photograph made public is a screenshot of text messages from an unidentified individual who states they have been provided "some girls" and are asking for "$one thousand dollars per female".

Photo Release Occurs Ahead of DOJ Cut-off

The body has thousands of photographs in its possession from the Epstein estate, which are "at once disturbing and ordinary," its announcement on Thursday clarified.

The House Oversight Committee first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who died in a New York prison in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on allegations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photos and files the Epstein property provided to the committee are distinct from what is commonly termed "Epstein-related records". Those are papers in the DOJ's possession associated with its own inquiry into Epstein.

Pursuant to the recently passed law, which the President signed into law recently, the DOJ has until 19 December to publish its records. The full nature of the contents contained in the DOJ's records is not publicly known, and it's expected that much of the material will be heavily redacted, comparable to House Oversight Committee materials
