Manchester United versus Brighton – English top flight Match Report
Match Preview
Manchester United, coming off victories against Sunderland and Liverpool, are targeting three consecutive successes in a row tonight. Confidence is high managed by Ruben Amorim for the very first time!
Only problem is, the opposing team come from the south coast, who have won in their previous three visits to Old Trafford, and six of the last seven League meetings head-to-head.
Forget the momentum; it’s been straightforward it’s been a breeze. Having said all that, Brighton are otherwise famously erratic like United, therefore the fixture appears intriguing and possibly highly entertaining.
Kick-off is at 5.30 in the evening a final reminder for now because remember the clocks fall back tonight, kids. Game on!

Selection Changes
Manchester United make two changes following last week’s victory at Anfield last weekend. Benjamin Šeško comes in instead of Mount, who drops to the bench, while last week’s win-securing hero Harry Maguire doesn’t feature at all, Yoro steps in at the back.
Maguire picked up an injury in midweek sessions. Malacia makes the squad on the bench for the first time this season.
Brighton have made one change post-success against over Newcastle. Seemingly a tactical shift, bringing in Maxim De Cuyper for Diego Gómez, on the bench.
The striker, a member of the last Manchester United squad champions in during the 2012-13 season, returns to Old Trafford with great momentum with four recent goals, an improvement on over his last 15 matches.
Build-Up
Ruben Amorim doesn’t much care about the views of the Reds’ manager … but Danny Welbeck is highly concerned about the considerations by the former Chelsea manager.
Analysts have noted that this match could have implications for both teams’ seasons in the top flight unfolds.
Star performers are Bruno Fernandes in red and the Brighton forward in blue and white, both in fine form lately.
